Remnants was created for Traces of Humanity, an international cultural exchange organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services and curated by Philippa Beale. Inspired by Gibraltar’s UNESCO-listed Gorham’s Cave Complex, the exhibition explored the traces humanity leaves through history, memory and shared experience. It travelled through Margate and London before its final exhibition at the Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery in Gibraltar in July 2026. In Remnants, the dense crowd becomes a record of collective presence, individual figures merging into a larger whole, reflecting what remains of us through the people, places and moments we pass through.
